Marti report
Since receipt of this excellent 69 Mach the following has been done:
Strip to bare metal revealing NO RUST ANY WHERE!!. THAT'S RIGHT, ZERO, rust!!! Photos to confirm.
Repaint in correct candy apple red with correct blackout hood treatment.
Full inspection and reseal of engine.
Chrome replaced as needed.
Weatherstrip replaced throughout.
Replacement of cracked dash, door panels, headliner.
I must say, this is the smoothest driving, easiest to handle big block car I've seen in years. It idles smoothly, is properly turned and "wants to run". Even under light throttle, when turning corners, it is difficult NOT to make the tires spin.
Full updated photo pack to follow once it is back from the headliner installation.
I've had a bit of time to get this "feel" of this particular vehicle. If you are looking for your "forever" car might I suggest you consider this one. While it started life as a Canadian car and spent its life there it is DEVOID of any rust. Since it was a Canadian car it was originally undercoated and that has served to protect it from any of the harmful effects of Northern roads and their winter treatments. It has all its original sheetmetal and is one of the straightest, lest molested Mach 1's I've ever seen. Every part that has come out of the interior has been a Ford original supply part including the dash, door panels and and chrome components that have required replacement.
The paint when it arrived here was what I would rate a 6/10...many chips, some dents and areas where the paint was degraded and lifting (clearly a previous, low quality repaint). We stripped the car to bare metal and have many photos verifying there is no rust or any panel replacement anywhere on the vehicle. While I cannot guarantee the milege as correct for the indicated 48,500 showing...I will say it drives like that is actual. The car is very tight and comes with none of the noises, steering, leaks and other problems that higher mileage Jet cars often have. I have also been pleasantly surprised that even though it is a 428 Jet car...which typically run hot in Texas...this one seldom gets past the mid mark termperature wise and will idle in traffic without complaint...and it has been VERY hot in Texas since this little guy got here.

Marti report - 1 of 13
This is a documented number matching engine and tranny with a correct date code rear end...so again, if you are looking for an unquestionable collector grade car and number match and documentation are issues for you...this is a car worthy of consideration. It is fully restored and ready for a new home to drive/show. The only thing remaining to be done on this outstanding Mach 1 would be detail of the front suspension and undercarriage to make it a top flight vehicle.
The videos of the underside show the condition of the vehicle on receipt. No work has been done on the underside of the vehicle.
